Amazon Prime Video extends French broadcast rights of Roland-Garros
Amazon Prime Video have retained its exclusive rights in to broadcast the evening sessions of the Roland-Garros tennis tournament in France through to 2027.
Prime Video has been exclusively broadcasting the evening sessions of Roland-Garros since 2021, it extends the partnership with the French Tennis Association for another four years.
Starting in 2024, Amazon Prime Video will air 11 evening sessions from the court, including two exclusive quarter-finals, it will also broadcast the semi-finals and finals of the tournament as a co-exclusive. Further coverage includes French commentary, in-studio discussion and analysis, as well as full match replays, available on demand.
Prime members based in France will have access to the matches at no additional cost.
Currently, the streamer delivers live coverage of Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 in France, Thursday Night Football in the US, New Zealand Cricket in India, as well as the UEFA Champions League in Italy, Germany and the UK.
