Mainstream Media AG taps Amagi to launch female-skewed FAST channel
Amagi, the specialist in cloud-based SaaS technology for broadcast and connected TV has teamed up with the German media outfit Mainstream Media AG to launch its first female-skewed FAST channel, Starke Frauen .
Starke Frauen translated Strong Women, showcases comedy and drama shows fronted by strong female leads. The channel is distributed on Rakuten TV and LG Channels, utilising Amagi’s FAST solutions.
Mainstream Media AG deployed Amagi Cloudport for cloud-based channel playout and Amagi Thunderstorm for dynamic server-side ad insertion. The B2C model provided Mainstream Media with opportunities for audience engagement, personalised ads, and content delivery.
Amagi has previous clients including ABS-CBN, Fox Networks, Fremantle, NBCUniversal, Warner Media and among others.
