Netflix ups Maja Porczynska to lead CEE & CIS strategic partnerships and business development

Netflix has promoted Maja Porczynska to director, strategic partnerships and business development in CEE & CIS.

Based in Poland, Porczynska joined Netflix CEE hub as head of strategic partnerships and business development in 2020. She oversaw commercial strategy and lead business growth, with a focus on telco, payTV and CE partners. She built key external relationships to grow Netflix business opportunities, as well as represented Netflix in the market beyond business relationships and representing the Central and Eastern European to Netflix.

In her new role, Porczynska will be a member of Netflix executive leadership teams for Central and Eastern Europe. She will manage commercial partnerships with PayTV, mobile and broadband telecommunications operators across Central and Eastern European Territories. She will be tasked with setting the overall business partnership strategy, negotiating partnerships, managing commercial performance, and leading cross functional teams across product, content, legal, business and marketing.

Prior to Netflix, Porczynska served at Viacom for six years and held a five-year stint at Orange.
