Quincy Jones’ Qwest TV lands of Freeview courtesy of Channelbox
Music streaming brand Qwest TV will be made available via the IP-delivered Channelbox offering on UK digital-terrestrial platform Freeview on channel 271.
Music lovers will now be able to access the likes of music curated by Quincy Jones via Qwest TV jazz & Beyond and Qwest TV mix channels on Channelbox. The Channels will be accessible to anyone with a connected TV of set-top for free in the UK.
The Qwest TV offering includes exclusive concerts, premium music documentaries, archived artist footage and unreleased interviews with music icons including Erykah Badu, Questlove, Shabaka Hutchings, Gregory Porter, Marcus Miller, Seun Kuti and Kamasi Washington.
The channel was founded in 2017 by Quincy Jones, alongside TV and music producer and programmer Reza Ackbaraly.
