Telefónica reports a boost in revenues in 2022
Spanish telco Telefónica has reported a growth in revenue across all its markets in the financial year 2022.
The company revealed its revenues has since 2021 rose by 1.8%, to €39,993 million, with it closing 2022 with a free cash flow of €4,566 million which was 72.5% higher than the previous year.
The Group’s reported revenues had significantly grown for the first time since 2015. In 2022 they have increased by 1.8%, to €39,993 million and in the fourth quarter they surged by 5.4%, up to €10,200 million.
The company’s global units such as Telefónica Tech has increased its revenues by 57% in 2022, to €1,482 million. Whilst, Telefónica Infra has consolidated its position as a high value-added infrastructure vehicle, according to the group.
In addition, Telefónica’s 5G network had been deployed over 1,600 locations in the UK, over 80% of the population in Germany, more than 85% in Spain and a total of 39 cities in Brazil.
