Tet OTT solution launches on Hisense VIDAA platform

Latvian service provider Tet, has launched its OTT solution on VIDAA operating system powering Hisense smart TVs.

The company’s à la carte OTT platform first launched in 2021 which allowed customers to personalise their TV packages and combine them with streaming services.

The expansion will provide customers with more options to access their preferred content on a variety of devices. The platform supports up to five devices including smart TVs, smartphones, and tablets with the option to create five unique accounts with access to its keep watching function. Tet+ combines TV channels, in-house digital content and third-party content.

The solution is available on all main platforms, including Tizen, iOS, Android, Apple TV, Android TV and others.

According to Tet, 75% of new customers have chosen the Tet TV+ platform over other TV solutions. Tet’s head of TV and entertainment business, Inga Alika-Stroda said “our partnership with Hisense is a testament to our commitment to delivering high-quality video content to viewers on any platform they choose,”
