Wedotv launches its FAST channels on Samsung TV Plus in Italy

The Swiss-based AVOD and FAST channel outfit wedotv, will launch the direct-to-consumer platform in Italy, including its FAST channels wedo movies and wedo big stories.

The company announced earlier in the year that it will roll out its services in major Europe territories later in 2023 as well as the US and Africa.

Wedo has mainly distributed its line-up of FAST channels in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the UK. Italy will mark the first of the company’s expansion outside of its main territories.

Wedo movies is the company’s female-skewing movie service, whilst wedo big stories focuses on true crime, nature and science documentaries as well as lifestyle programming.

The FAST channels will be available to consumers in Italy owning Samsung’s smart TVs that include the built-in Samsung TV Plus platform.
