FIFA+ to stream U-20 Women’s World Cup

FIFA+ will be the exclusive home of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Costa Rica 2022, the organisation has said. 

The streaming platform will carry the competition in 114 territories, with all matches available to watch for free.

The 16-team tournament kicked off with Germany 1-0 defeat to Colombia on August 10, with the final scheduled to take place in San Jose on August 28.

The streamer will hope to benefit from the increased exposure that women’s football experienced this Summer, as 280 million people across Europe watched the UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 tournament.

FIFA+ will also  be the home of editorial content for the tournament, tracking news, interviews and analysis throughout.
