Tele Columbus names business services CTO
German cable operator Tele Columbus, which operates under the PŸUR brand, has named Mario Zöller as chief technology officer of its business services division, HLKomm.
Zöller will be second in command of HLKomm, working alongside CEO Robert Butz.
Zöller has over 20 years’ experience as an IT executive, working at companies including Deutsche Telekom, Deutsche Glasfaser and Birkenstock.
Most recently, he was responsible for setting up network operations and operations at Vattenfall Eurofiber GmbH in Berlin.
As CTO and technical director, he will assume responsibility for all processes relating to the company’s infrastructure and technical operations, as well as strategic product development, said Tele Columbus.
“I am really looking forward to my new role at PŸUR Business and above all to working with the team. My previous experience in the design and implementation of customer and fulfillment processes in the B2B environment and wholesale carrier business will contribute to the successful further development of the company,” said Zöller.
“With his hands-on mentality and a high degree of integrity, Mario Zöllner will provide us with excellent support in transforming the company into efficient digital processes. Commitment, transparency, proactively offering solutions, reflection from the customer’s perspective and fact-based decisions are the principles by which we lead business at PŸUR. We are very pleased to have him on board,” said Butz.
