Viaplay picks up PFL rights in 14 markets
The Professional Fighters League (PFL) has announced a wide broadcast rights deal with Viaplay across Europe.
The streamer will broadcast the 2022 PFL Regular Season, Playoffs and PFL World Championship. Viaplay will be the PFL’s exclusive broadcast partner in the Nordics, Baltics, Poland and the Netherlands, while holding non-exclusive rights in an additional 10 markets.
MMA outfit PFL is the sport’s second-largest company globally, with a quarter of its fighters ranked in the world’s top 25. Its roster includes PFL champions Kayla Harrison and Ray Cooper III, while it has live event coverage in 160 countries and a reach of 600 million viewers globally.
