Media Broadcast and DOTSCREEN renew Freenet HbbTV portal partnership

Multiscreen video applications and UI specialist DOTSCREEN has announced the renewal of its multi-year contract with Media Broadcast in Germany. 

The contract will see DOTSCREEN continue to support the Freenet HbbTV portal in Germany which it originally designed and developed in 2016. The pair have renewed their contract for a further two years. 

The Freenet portal by Media Broadcast provides access to HbbTV from major providers such as ARD, Kabel Eins, MDR, ZDR, SAT1, RTL, VOX, Pro7, Kabel 1, NDR, SWR. It also provides other interactive features such as text and video-based news and articles, and weather forecasts.
