TalkTalk turns to NetgemTV

UK operator TalkTalk has selected Netgem for its next-generation TalkTalk 4K TV service.

TalkTalk will utilise NetgemTV, the company’s multi-screen operated entertainment platform, for the launch of its new pay TV service.

The partnership builds on Netgem’s presence in the UK, with the fifteen fibre operators having adopted the NetgemTV platform.

Netgem said that the ‘content-as-a-service’ business model that it operates with will generate recurring revenues “as early as fiscal year 2021”.
