United Group’s Nova secures first-run NBCUniversal content
United Group-owned Greek pay TV operator Nova has signed an exclusive, multi-year deal with NBCUniversal Global Distribution for first run pay window rights for NBCUniversal’s films and TV series.
Feature films that will premiere exclusively on Novacinema channels include: F9: The Fast Saga, as well as all eight previous movies in the blockbuster Fast & Furious movie franchise, Let Him Go, Every Breath You Take and Archive.
Other movies in the deal include Land, Irresistible and Freaky as well as family and children’s movies such as the DreamWorks Animation films The Boss Baby: Family Business and The Croods: A New Age.
Nova has also secured a selection of first window TV series, such as The Thing About Pam, Fires, The Undeclared War and the upcoming dramas La Brea and Ordinary Joe.
