Luxembourg’s Eltrona taps Ocilion for IPTV

Luxembourg cable operator Eltrona has chosen Ocilion to provide a turnkey IPTV platform including 4K set top boxes, apps, content and video library.

Eltrona, which supplies over 100,000 households and users with its services, will tap Ocilion to provide an IPTV solution including functions such as replay, integrated video library and recording along with channel packages, 4K set top boxes and first and second screen apps designed by Eltrona. The system can be operated in different languages used in the country.

The IPTV platform is hosted on-premise on Eltrona’s servers, which Ocilioin says gives Eltrona freedom and more individuality in its product design. Updates and new functions can be tested in a dedicated laboratory environment before they are made available to customers.
