Acorn TV on Prime in Spain

AMC Networks’ British content streamer Acorn TV has launched in Spain on Amazon.

The €3.99 per month SVOD is available on Amazon Prime Video as an add-on subscription, and offers a wide range of content from the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and Canada, in both their Castilian dubbed and subtitled versions. Highlights on the platform include Doc Martin, Detectorists and Kingdom.

Matthew Graham, Acorn TV’s General Manager, said: “Acorn TV has been remarkably successful at bringing some of the most iconic and critically acclaimed international mysteries and drama series to subscribers worldwide, so we’re very excited to expand our distribution in Spain with our partners at  Amazon Prime Video.”

The streamer first launched in Spain at the end of 2018, and announced a deal in November 2020 with Vodafone España.
