beIN Media takes rights to FIFA Club World Cup

beIN Media Group has acquired the exclusive rights to broadcast the FIFA Club World Cup Qatar 2020 on its beIN Sports channels across 24 countries in the Middle East & North Africa.

The competition, which kicks off tomorrow, will see six teams compete in two stadiums in beIN’s home territory of Qatar – Ahmad bin Ali stadium and Education City stadium.

UEFA Champions League winners FC Bayern Munich, CONMEBOL Champions League winners Palmeiras, CONCACAF Champions League winners Tigres UNAL, CAF Champions League winners Al Ahly SC, AFC Champions League winners Ulsan Hyundai FC, and Qatari champions Al Duhail SC are set to feature in this year’s competition.

The Club World Cup is the first FIFA competition held since the global outbreak of COVID-19 nearly 12 months ago.
