Vodafone Spain integrates Atresmedia premium SVOD offering

Vodafone España is to integrate commercial broadcaster Atresmedia’s premium streaming service, ATRESplayer Premium, into its TV offering.

The service provides access to Atresmedia’s entire back-catalogue and range of channels live and on-demand, and also offers exclusive series, original productions and premieres of programmes ahead of their free-to-air broadcast.

ATRESplayer Premium is an SVOD service that provides access to drama, entertainment and original documentaries without advertising, as well as live channels.

ATRESplayer Premium offers access to channels Antena 3, laSexta, Neox, Nova, Mega and Atreseries as well as on-demand content for €2.99 a month, with a seven-day free trial period. Vodafone will integrate the cost of subscription within its billing.

Vodafone TV customers can access the service via their 4K set-top as well as via other devices from the Vodafone TV app. ATRESplayer Premium is available via smartphones, tablets, PCs and Macs, Amazon Fire TV, compatible smart TVs, Apple TV, Google Chromecast and Android TV devices as well as via the Vodafone TV set-top.

The addition of ATRESplayer Premium is the latest in a number of enhancements to the Vodafone TV service in Spain, which recently saw the addition of Eurosport Player and ‘best of British’ service Acorn TV, and the launch of a new intelligent voice assistant.
