SPI’s Dizi expands reach in Romania
SPI/FilmBox has expanded its footprint in Romania through a new distribution agreement with digital satellite pay TV operator Focus Sat for its Turkish drama channel, Dizi.
The deal makes Dizi available to subscribers in the MozaicPlus extra-basic package. Dizi is being offered in the original Turkish language with Romanian subtitles.
Launched in April 2019, Dizi currently reaches 25 million households worldwide in 81 countries, with recent launches in Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East. Current shows include Endless Love, Insider, Stiletto Vendetta, Karadayi, Black Money Love, 20 Minutes, Kurt Seyit & Shura, Red Scarf and The End.
Dizi is also bringing three exclusive series to international screens for the first time: Moms and Mothers, Five Brothers and The 8th Day.
SPI’s flagship FilmBox service is also available to Focus Sat subscribers with linear and on-demand offerings. All Focus Sat customers with an active subscription to the FilmBox premium package can access the FilmBox Live streaming service at no additional cost. Focus Sat also carries seven other channels from the SPI/FilmBox portfolio including movie channels FilmBox, FilmBox Stars, FilmBox Family, FilmBox Premium and FilmBox Extra HD and two thematic channels, FightBox and DocuBox.
