Lolly Kids launches on MEO in Portugal

Music performance-themed kids channel Lolly Kids has launched in Portugal on leading operator MEO’s television service.

The channel, which features children aged between five and 17 singing, dancing and playing music, is exclusive to MEO in Portugal.

The operator said that the launch reinformed its strategy of innovation and differentiation of MEO TV which includes building an improved offering aimed at younger audiences.

The service provider currently offers linear channels such as Nickelodeon; Disney Special Pop Up channels, such as the Disney Channel Anima Fest and the recently launched Disney Junior Kids Party, as well as on demand services such as MEO Filmes e Série, including Cartoon Network Premium;, premium services, such as Nick + and free TV service such as Estudo em Casa, Jardim Zoológico and MEO Kids.

Lolly Kids, produced by Mimyumi Media, launched in neighbouring Spain two years ago on Orange’s network and last year it also became available on Euskaltel’s networks in northern Spain.
