TV3 Group secures exclusive Disney deal for Baltics

Baltic media outfit TV3 Group has struck a deal with The Walt Disney Company Nordic and Baltic whereby TV3 Group’s OTT service Go3 and its pay TV channel TV3 Film will have exclusive first-pay window for the latest Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm movies and the full 20^th Century Studios slate across the Baltic region.

Starting from Christmas, Go3 and TV3 Film subscribers across Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia will be able to watch movies from The Walt Disney Studios, Walt Disney Animation and Pixar, as well as Marvel, Lucasfilm and 20^th Century Studio, including Avengers: End Game, The Lion King (2019), Frozen 2, Toy Story 4, Captain Marvel, Spies in Disguise and X-men Dark Phoenix.

TV3 Group, which was originally part of Modern Times Group (MTG) has signed up over 130,000 subscribers to Go3 since the service launched earlier this year.

The Disney deal comes as Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT Group) – also formerly part of MTG – is preparing for the launch of its own Baltic streaming offering under the Viaplay brand.
