Wind Vision launches on web for PC users

Greek service provider Wind Hellas’s Wind Vision TV service is now available via the web for PC users.

The move means that Wind Vision is available on all household screens, with the same advanced functionalities enabled.

Via windvision.gr, subscribers can watch Family Pack content of more than 50 pay TV channels with series, kids, documentaries, sports, music and news.

The web version of the platform includes three TV guides for easy access to content, restart, seven-day catch-up, cloud recording and full access to past personal recordings in a myLibrary section. Parental control settings and ‘lock channels’ functionalities are also available.

The Wind Vision web service is available via any network and through any of the most commonly used browsers, without installing any additional software.

Hermann Riedl, Wind’s chief business and digital transformation officer said: “Wind Vision never stops to amaze us with its capabilities. We are very happy to have developed such a high-tech product with hardly any limitations. We live up to customers’ expectations and needs offering true value and flexibility in the content consumption experience.”

Patrick Vos, CEO of Zappware, the technology company that enabled Wind Vision, said: “As end-to-end system integrator and solution provider for Wind Vision, we always had the viewer in mind. The viewers want easy access to any content on any device. After the hybrid Android TV set top box and the mobile solution with Chromecast, we are now also addressing the very demanding web users. The feature rich solution for PCs is also powered by Zappware’s cloud-native back-office on Amazon AWS.”
