Nova launches Novasports World for Greeks abroad

Greek pay TV operator Nova has launched: Novasports World, a new channel designed to enhance its Novasports Online service offering.

According to Nova, the channel will enhance its Novasports Online offering targeted at Greeks living abroad.

Novasports World will  provide the opportunity for Greek expatriates who take Novasports Online to watch all games from the Greek football championship line and oin-demand.

The Greek football championship, with 240 games in total, including 182 in the standard duration of the season, 30 during the play-offs and 28 during the play out procedure, is broadcasting live and exclusively on Nova for the season 2020-2021, including matches played by leading clubs Olympiacos, PAOK, AEK, Panathinaikos, Aris, OFI, Asteras Tripolis, Atromitos Athens, AEL, Lamia, Volos NFC, Panetolikos, PAS Giannina Car.gr, and Apollon Smirnis.

Novasports World will also broadcast documentary shows such as Time of Champions and Super Euroleague, as well as making available an archive of more than 1.500 games from the Novasports channels, including titles Classic Zone, Timeline, Game Histor, Legend Stories, Novasports Moments, Novasports Challenge and Game Story.

Greek fans abroad will also have the opportunity to watch games of the National Women’s Football Team for the Euro 2021 qualifiers, as well as other games of significant Greek interest.

Novasports World will air 24/7 in HD quality enabling viewers to watch all matches of the Greek football championship, as well as other premium content from the Novasports channels.
