Love Nature’s Arctic Secrets

Wildlife channel Love Nature 4K has launched on Russian service provider Rostelelecom’s Wink service.

The agreement which will provide a raft of Ultra HD natural history shows via the Love Nature linear channel, was brokered by Thema Rus and overseen by Chiara Mckee, VP, EMEA global networks, Blue Ant Media.

The launch on Rostelecom expands the channels reach in Russia, where the channel is also available on pay-tv platform Tricolor and Love Nature 4K On Demand content features on OTT platform Okko.

“Love Nature has seen explosive growth in the last 18 months, growing to be in 110 territories on 55 different platforms reaching over 150 million households” said Ward Platt, CEO Global Networks, Blue Ant Media.

“Launching on Russia’s incumbent pay-tv platform, Rostelecom, continues that trajectory allowing us to share captivating wildlife stories with a significant Russian audience”.

In another Russian deal Thema Rus has also struck a deal to distribute wellness network MyZen on OTT platform Megogo.

Victor Chekanov, CEO of Megogo Russia, said: “We carefully select the TV channels that will be available to our viewers. Paying special attention to the quality of content and pictures, and MyZen TV is one of such striking examples of good quality television product for family viewing”.
