Telia names new Finnish CEO
Nordic service provider Telia has appointed Heli Partanen as the CEO of Telia Finland starting on April 15.
Partanen is currently responsible for Telia’s consumer business in Finland and has since November 2019 been acting vice CEO and head of daily operations of Telia Finland. In her new role she will also be a member of the group executive management team of Telia Company.
She has worked at Telia since 1998 in various positions. Since 2016 she has been head of consumer business in the country, and before that, ead of Consumer Customer Services and Sales. She has also served as HR director of Telia Finland.
Partanen will report to acting president and CEO Christian Luiga. Juha Kivelä, currently head of operational excellence, will be acting head of consumer during the search for her successor.

She has held several leading positions within our company since 1998 and has shown strong leadership and collaboration skills. I am very confident that Telia Finland’s continued development is in safe hands and that she will contribute to both Telia Finland and Telia Company in general going forward,” said Luiga.
