Parrot Analytics: Money Heist returns with a bang in Belgium
La Casa De Papel (Money Heist) has emerged as the top show in Belgium in Parrot Analytics’ originals in-demand chart for the week ending April 5.
Parrot Analytics analyses the demand for recent popular digital titles across international markets, based on the application of artificial intelligence to expressions of demand across social media, fan sites, peer-to-peer protocols and file-sharing platforms.
The Netflix Spanish hit series made its eagerly anticipated return at the beginning of the month, and is the clear favourite with 1,009,513 average demand expressions, more than a quarter of a million more than Star Trek: Picard in second with 732,281.
Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale sits in third with 718,284 average demand expressions, while perennial favourites Stranger Things and The Mandalorian are in fourth and fifth place respectively.
The other Netflix original to make a return this month, Ozark, is in sixth with 677,391 average demand expressions, with other series from the streamer – Lucifer and The Witcher – also featuring in seventh and ninth place.
Disney+ animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars also proved popular with 594,014 average demand expressions amid its seventh and final season.
Amazon Prime Video only takes up one spot in the top 10, with The Expanse rounding out the list.
