LaLigaSportsTV launches on Android TV

OTT platform LaLigaSportsTV has launched on Android TV.

Not to be confused with La Liga TV, the recently-launched premium pay TV channel that broadcasts all of the league’s domestic football matches, LaLigaSportsTV offers viewers access to every matchday of the Liga Nacional de Futbol Sala (LNFS – National Futsal League), the Liga ASOBAL (Spain’s premier professional handball league) and the Liga LEB Oro (the second tier of the Spanish basketball league system).

It also broadcasts PREMAAT leagues (men’s and women’s water polo), the Primera Iberdrola and the Division de Honor Masculina de Hockey Hierba (the top flight in field hockey), the Copa de España de Futsal, the handball Copa del Rey and both the LNFS and LEB Oro playoffs.

In total, the service offers free live coverage of over 30 sports. Its Android TV launch follows availability on Samsung and LG smart TV sets.

In addition to domestic sports, LaLigaSportsTV also broadcasts coverage of international competitions such as the Superbike World Championship, the European Weightlifting Championships, the European Judo Championships and the Canoe Sprint World Championships.
