SPI/FilmBox secures Romanian distribution for Timeless Drama

SPI/FilmBox announces has secured distribution for its Turkish scripted drama channel Timeless Drama Channel (TDC) with Telekom Romania, along with two additional thematic channels from the SPI/FilmBox portfolio, factual channel DocuBox and combat sports offering FightBox.

The three channels will be available in the basic package across all of Telekom Romania’s distribution networks, including IPTV, DTH and cable.

SPI/FilmBox’s premium Turkish drama channel TDC launched in April 2019 and is now available in five million homes in 14 countries. SPI International said it plans to double its market penetration in 2020.

Created in partnership with Ay Yapim, TDC offers over 600 hours of content including Turkish TV series Karadayi, Black Money Love, 20 Minutes, Kurt Seyit & Shura, Moms and Mothers, Red Scarf, Five Brothers, The End and The 8th Day.
