Amazon Prime Video Channels launches in France
Amazon has launched its Prime Video Channels offering in France, bringing a range of third-party offerings including Starzplay, TFOU Max, GulliMax, GEO Television and MGM to the Amazon Prime platform in that country.
As in other markets, Amazon Prime Video Channels will be available as additional subscriptions to Prime members in France, with fees starting at €1.99 for 30 days without the need for a long-term commitment.
Channels will be available via all variants of the Prime Video app in France, whether on smart TVs, iOS and Android smartphones and tablets, Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, or other devices.
The inclusion of channels from TF1, Lagardère and Mediawan will bring series and films including GulliMax’s Arthur et Les Minimoys, Sophie la giraffe and Oggy et les Cafards. Starzplay will bring international series including Power, Black Sails, and Mr. Mercedes, while GEO Television will bring Human, Vu du ciel, MGM will offer West Side Story and Le Silence des Agneaux (Silence of the Lambs) and TFOU Max will offer La Pat’ Patrouille and Peppa Pig.
The full list of channels available includes Starzplay for €4.99, TFOU Max for €3.99, GulliMax for €2.99, MGM for €3.99, GEO Television for €3.99, Crime District for €1.99, Mon Science & Vie Junior for €2.99, Automoto for €2.99, Toute l’Histoire for €1.99, movie service MUBI for €9.99, Canal J and Tiji for €1.99, Hopster for €4.99 and Mezzo and Mezzo HD for €3.50.
