KPN launches flexible triple-play offering
Dutch telco KPN has launched a new all-in-one triple-play offering, KPN Hussel, that allows customers to choose from multiple options and make regular changes, with discounts available for the purchase of multiple services.
KPN said that the new offering was designed to provide customers with “more flexibility” in buying and opting out of programming choice at a time when the launch of multiple SVOD offerings including Disney+, which is already available in the Netherlands, was providing an ever-greater array of content options.
KPN Hussel provides a single subscription for internet and telephony at home and on the mobile as well as the ability to add TV and music services from the likes of Netflix and Spotify.
Users can order services separately or together, with discounts available in the latter case. Packages can be adjusted on a month-by-month basis.
Users can combine various options, such as unlimited mobile data and Netflix while foregoing traditional linear channels in the case of young millennials, or combining data with that of their children via a Kids SIM in the case of families, according to the telco.
KPN is also providing a small enterprise variation under the brand KPN Kleinigo.
Stijn Nuijten, responsible for consumer marketing and products at KPN said: “Whether you live alone, live together, have children or not, from today you can put together exactly the combination that suits you with KPN Hussel. With this form of subscription, which is new in the Netherlands, we are further fulfilling our ambition of being able to offer all our services to everyone in a simple and tailor-made way.”
