Vivendi names Herzog as strategy and innovation chief

Vivendi has named Félicité Herzog as senior vice-president, strategy and innovation.

Herzog, who has worked as an advisor to Vivendi’s video site Dailymotion, will report to Stéphane Roussel, the media giant’s chief operating officer and chairman and CEO of Vivendi-owned video-games outfit Gameloft.

Roussel said: “We are very pleased to welcome Félicité Herzog to Vivendi. She has advised the Group on the international development of Dailymotion since 2015. Later on, she became an independent member of the Telecom Italia Board of Directors.”

Herzog was a Vivendi nominee as independent board member at Telecom Italia from 2015 and served as a member of the telco’s risk committee until the battle between Elliott Management and Vivendi that saw the former secure control of the board last year. She resigned in April 2018.

She has also served as a member of the Gaumont board of directors since 2016, joining the audit committee a year later.
