Parrot Analytics: Dutch joy for Stranger Things
Stranger Things has regained its place atop Parrot Analytics’ originals in-demand chart, with the retro sci-fi series dominating attention in the Netherlands for the week ending September 24.
Parrot Analytics analyses the demand for recent popular digital titles across international markets, based on the application of artificial intelligence to expressions of demand across social media, fan sites, peer-to-peer protocols and file-sharing platforms.
Despite temporarily losing top spot to fellow Netflix series 13 Reasons Why, Stranger Things saw 1.9 million average demand expressions to leapfrog the teen drama.
13 Reasons Why sits in second place with 1.24 million, while fewer than 500 demand expressions are the difference between The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance in third and DC Universe’s Titans in fourth.
The Handmaid’s Tale is the last series with over 1 million average demand expressions in fifth, with Good Omens, The Boys, Orange is the New Black, Mindhunter and The Grand Tour rounding out the top 10 in that order.
