A+E promotes three senior distribution execs
A+E Networks has promoted three senior distribution executives to elevated roles in the company.
Jane Rice, Mark Garner and Richard Shirley (pictured left to right) have been named as EVP, content distribution and marketing, EVP, content licensing and business development and senior VP, distribution business development respectively.
Based in New York, Rice and Garner will continue to report to A+E Networks president of distribution David Zagin, while Shirley will report to Garner.
Shirley, the longest serving of the three, joined A+E Networks in 2005 as manager of VOD marketing. Garner joined the company as VP, distribution business development, analytics and marketing in 2007, while Rice joined a decade ago..
Zagin said: “The way in which we reach our consumers has never been more diverse or as interesting as it is right now.
“Jane and Mark have both proven to be strategic leaders in distribution and, along with Richard’s efforts, this group is continually innovating to ensure A+E grows as a preferred partner in the industry and a top destination for fans.”
