SMIT teams up with CryptoGuard

Conditional access module provider SMIT has teamed up with content protection specialist CryptoGuard to launch the first CryptoGuard Cardless CAM.

The CAM device, based on SMIT’s latest secure chipset, integrates with the CryptoGuard cardless solution. SMIT said that the launch of the CryptoGuard cardless CAMs would enable operators to reduce the cost of deploying CAMs and provide a plug-and-play solution for market.

The CAM integrates the latest CI Plus 1.4 and ECP technology, enabling 4K services to be deployed via the device, which is embedded with the CryptoGuard security solution.
