Poland’s Inea taps ADB for new advanced TV service

Polish cable operator Inea has tapped ADB to provide its Graphyne2 user interface and set-top boxes for a new HiWay IP and fibre-based advanced pay TV service.

ADB said that its solution would enable the operator to further expand its service to mobile devices, offering a multi-screen TV service to its subscribers.

Graphyne2 pulls together media content from various sources and provides the end-user with a way to browse it. Graphyne2 also enables operators to monitor its system components and end devices, providing tools for analysis, according to ADB.

ADB said it had provided high-end 4K-enabled set-top boxes to Inea including 802.11ac Wi-Fi technology to enable users to receive video streams through the wireless home network.
