SPI International strikes deal with Cgates

SPI International/FilmBox has struck a new distribution agreement with Lithuanian cable operator UAB Cgates. 

UAB Cgates’ clients will now have access to FilmBox Baltic and FilmBox Arthouse channels when they subscribe to the operator’s thematic movie pack. They will also have access to the Fast&FunBox HD channel when subscribing to the thematic sports pack.

FilmBox Baltic and FilmBox Arthouse features Hollywood movies, television series and shows and with movies from directors such as Hitchcock, Kurosawa, Fellini and others, along with films presented at international festivals including Cannes, Toronto, Venice, Berlin, Locarno, Sundance, Karlovy Vary and Tokyo.

Fast&FunBox HD subscribers have access to sports from car racing and motocross, snowboarding and skydiving to skateboarding and BMX competitions from all over the world with no commercial breaks.

The company said that the latest deal allows it to to keep growing its penetration in the Baltic region.
