Du partners with Amazon Prime Video
United Arab Emirates-based operator, Du, has signed a distribution deal with Amazon to offer Prime Video to its customers.
This announcement was made during GITEX Technology Week trade show in Dubai, where the telco is showcasing technologies it claims will “transform the digital services landscape in the UAE”.
“Our relationship with Prime Video enables us to further strengthen our offering, not just for TV viewers, but also for on-the-go customers whose entertainment needs span multiple screens,” said Fahad Al Hassawi, deputy CEO of telco services at Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (EITC) – which is commercial known by the Du brand.
“Du is excited for the launch of its offer of Prime Video as part of a value-added consumer strategy which entails global partnerships to meet rising demand for high-quality content.”
The news follows reports earlier this month that Du has signed a similar partnership with Netflix.
