Sky Deutschland to launch pop-up Halloween channel

Sky Deutschland it to launch a pop-up Halloween channel from October 19-November 1.

Sky Cinema Halloween HD will offer a collection of 70 horror movies including Halloween – Die Nacht des Grauens (Halloween), Underworld: Blood Wars, Get Out and Annabelle 2.

Other content will include an exclusive TV premier of horror remake Es, which will also be available in the 4K UHD format for users of the advanced Sky Q service.

Halloween will air on October 31, along with sequels Halloween 4 – The Return of Michael Myers, Halloween 5 – The Revenge of Michael Myers and Halloween: H20.

A number of movies on the channel will also be available via Sky Deutschland’s OTT TV offering, Sky Ticket.

Sky has aired a growing number of pop-up channels around major calendar dates and events in recent years.
