Telenor taps Agama for quality assurance on cable
Norwegian telecom operator Telenor has tapped Agama Technologies to provide video quality assurance through the deployment of its probes on its cable network.
Telenor is also using Agama Scale, the technology outfit’s analytics and assurance platform.
Telenor is using Agama to implement analytics and video monitoring from the headend through to the end customer on its cable network.
An update to the Agama Scale platform has, according to Agama, enabled new applications and high-volume data integration with other back-office systems used by Telenor. Applciatoins are being provided or operations teams, product development and other departments.
Agama said that Telenor’s decision to deply its software edgeQAM probes would give it access to a wide set of KPIs and metrics in a flexible package.
