Sky Sports launching new dedicated horse-racing channel

Sky Sports is launching a channel dedicated to horse racing, the latest in a series of channel launches dedicated to specific sports.

The new channel, Sky Sports Racing, will replacing existing offering At The Races, and will be available to every Sky TV customer in the UK and Ireland at no extra cost.

The channel will be available in HD for the first time and produced from Sky’s studios in West London, bringing live racing from over 650 UK fixtures as well as exclusive international race meetings, according to Sky.

The channel will be Sky’s 11^th dedicated sports channel, and will be avaialbgle on TV and on mobile through Sky Go, unlike At The Races, its joint venture with Arena Racing Company that was launched in 2000.

At The Races will rebrand as Sky Sports Racing by the beginning of next year.

Horse racing is a massive sport that Sky has been involved in for two decades, now we will have a channel to give our customers more of what they love every day.
