M7’s HD Austria adds new channels
M7 Group-owned Austrian pay TV operator HD Austria has added seven new channels to its offering.
The operator has added crime series channel 13th Street HD, entertainment news channel E! Entertainment, kids channel Fix&Foxi TV, music channels Mezzo and Mezzo Live HD, sci-fi channel Syfy HD and general entertainment channel Universal Channel HD to its Kombi package line-up.
“With the launch of seven new premium channels on the HD Austria platform, we are adding a broad range of high-quality program highlights for the entire family to our channel portfolio. Strong, diverse content and brilliant HD quality have always been the driving force behind the successful marketing of our program packages,” said Martijn van Hout, director of HD Austria.
Also this week, M7 Group renewed a long-term distribution deal with AMC Networks International – Central and Northern Europe.
The deal will enable subscribers of M7’s Skylink service in the Czech Republic and Slovakia to continue viewing the EMCNI CNE line-up of eight channels – Film+, AMC, Sport1, Sport2, JimJam, Minimax, TV Paprika and Spektrum.
As part of the deal, infotainment channel Spektrum HD will be placed in Skylink’s Multi package, increasing the number of households in which it is available.
