TV4 names new deputy sales chief

Rikard Sjöberg

Swedish broadcaster TV4 Group has named Rikard Sjöberg as deputy sales director.

Sjöberg, who will take up his new post on September 1, has worked for TV4 in a variety of roles over the last seven years, initially working for local TV is Stockholm and, most recently, as sales manager for one of the group’s Stockholm-based customer teams.

In his new role he will head the customer organization within TV4’s sales department, with six sales managers reporting to him.

Sjöberg replaces Fredrik Lamotte, who is leaving the company in the autumn.

Malin Häger, TV4 Group sales director, said that Sjöbeg had played a key role in the implantation of major changes in TV4’s sales organisation over the past few years and had a unique understanding of and insight into the needs of the market.
