Heuch replaces Haug at Telenor

Nordic telco Telenor has named Cecilie Heuch as EVP and chief people officer, effective from December 1.

Heuch will succeed Erik Haug, who is leaving the company to seek new opportunities. Haug will remain in his post until Heuch joins the company.

Haug has been with Telenor since 1997 and has served in roles including chief marketing officer at Telenor Sweden and CEO of Telenor Denmark as well as chief people officer.

Heuch was previously chief HR officer at DNV GL Group. She has also worked in a variety of roles at Norsk Hydro and Hydro Agri/Yara in Italy.
