Dave and Home launch on Freesat in the UK
UKTV-owned channels Dave and Home have launched on the Freesat platform in the UK.
Dave, which broadcasts a mix of comedy and reality shows, is now available on channel 157 of the free-to-air satellite TV platform.
Home, which airs programmes focused on homes and gardens, takes up channel number 166 of the Freesat electronic programme guide.
The two channels join UKTV’s Drama, Yesterday and Really channels, which launched on Freesat in December 2015 on channel numbers 158, 159 and 160 respectively.
Commercial broadcaster UKTV claims to reach a total of 41 million viewers per month across its portfolio of channels, which also includes W, Gold, Alibi, Eden and Good Food.
