Snapchat launches Spectacles in Europe

Snapchat parent company Snap Inc has started selling its video camera-equipped sunglasses in Europe.

Spectacles are available in the UK, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Spain, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland and Sweden priced at £129.99 or €149.99.

The company announced the US launch of the glasses in September, marking its first move into the hardware market.

Spectacles connect directly to Snapchat via Bluetooth or WiFi and can transfer ‘Memories’ directly into the app via a new circular video format.
