Arris to unveil new partnership

Arris is to unveil a major new customer partnership at ANGA COM, while Arris executives are also to take a major role in contributing to the even conference that runs alongside he exhibition. 

Arris will unveil its customer deal at the show on Tuesday. The following day a significant number of senior Arris staff are to make presentations at the conference running alongside the exhibition in Cologne.

Arris senior staff are also making a number of presentations at the ANGA COM conference during the technical sessions on Wednesday May 31.

Sessions at which Arris execs are speaking include: Wireless Convergence and Optimizing Wi-Fi Coverage panel with Charles Cheevers, CTO, Customer Premises Equipment (at 10:00); Deploying DOCSIS 3.1 – Challenge for Today’s HFC Networks? – a panel with Ayham Al-Banna, Engineering Fellow, CTO Office-Network Solutions  (at 11:45); Gigabit Networks & New TV technology summit with Steve McCaffery, President International (at 13:30); Personalized TV: Product Trends and Monetization panel with Cornel Ciocirlan, CTO EMEA (at 15:00 – a panel session moderated by Digital TV Europe editor Stuart Thomson); Realities of Deploying in Distributed Access Architectures, a panel with John Ulm, Engineering Fellow, Broadband Systems, CTO-Networks (also at 15:00); and The Complete Story on Full Duplex DOCSIS, a panel with Tom Cloonan, CTO Networks solutions (at 16:30)

Arris executives will also address topics including DOCSIS 3.1 for gigabit services; optimizing Wi-Fi and home connectivity; and what’s next, including Distributed Access Architectures and Full Duplex DOCSIS. The briefings will take place in Meeting Room D, Congress Centrum Nord.
