Netflix tests ‘skip intro’ button

Netflix is testing a ‘skip intro’ button that lets users skip past the opening credits on television shows.

Various US news outlets reported news of the trial, which has been spotted so far in the browser on various TV shows – both for opening title sequences and credits that start after an initial opening scene.

“We perform hundreds of tests every year to help make the Netflix member experience better,” a Netflix spokesperson told tech site The Verge, which reported the news after receiving a reader tip-off.
