SeaChange appoints chief operating officer
SeaChange has promoted chief information officer, Jonathan Rider, to senior vice president and chief operating officer.
Rider will report to CEO Ed Terino and oversee engineering, product management, services, sales and marketing globally.
“Promoting Jon to COO facilitates the ongoing turnaround of SeaChange, whereby he is taking on additional responsibilities for the execution of improvements to achieve further cost reductions, while enhancing sales and marketing, business development, product development, delivery and service,” said Terino.
“Jon’s expanded role allows us to leverage his extensive operational experience to elevate our quality, responsiveness and profitability from customer implementations, service, and support.”
Rider joined SeaChange as chief information officer in April 2016, initially to put in place a company-wide data architecture – implementing uniform business processes across geographies and functions for things including customer relationship management, sales and marketing.
