A+E Networks Africa expands team
A+E Networks has expanded its African team with a number of new hires who will be based at the company’s Johannesburg office.
Former Urban Brew Studios and Glow TV executive, Nazarene Khan, becomes head of marketing and sponsorship, Africa, reporting into Yusuf Nabee, general manager for Africa at A+E Networks.
Khan will be responsible for all marketing, digital and communications for Lifetime, History and Crime + Investigation across Africa.
Reporting into Khan will be two other new recruits, marketing executive Anita Gardini and social media coordinator Justice Tshabalala.
“Nazarene, Anita and Justice will be working alongside me to build and execute our local brand and marketing strategy for A+E Networks’ portfolio across Africa,” said Nabee.
“I am delighted to have such a strong local team and we are excited to play a key role in driving the company’s future performance in Africa.”
Nabee joined A+E Networks in June 2016 in the newly-created role of general manager, Africa. He is responsible for building on the global media company’s success across the African continent.
