Divan.TV launches new iOS app
Ukrainian-based international OTT TV service Divan.TV has launched a new iOS mobile application, making its content available to Apple device owners free-to-view.
The app will enable free-of-charge access to Divan.TV’s content until the end of this year, and includes extended access to the company’s archive content to 14 days.
Divan.TV offers a range of content aimed at audiences in the CIS states and eastern Europe and expatriate audiences elsewhere. The group has attracted about 1.5 million registered users for freemium and pay subscriptions to date.
The service offers about 200 channels, VOD and audio content available via smart TV portals, iOS and Android devices and the web.
“The absolutely new Divan.TV iOS application opens unlimited free of charge access to the legal content – TV channels, VOD, Radio, etc. – all over the world. I’m sure, the fact that the two biggest Ukrainian pirate web-sites – Ex.ua and Fs.to – have been closed recently, will force viewers to search for the alternative online video providers,” said Arkadiy Kanyuka, CEO of Divan.TV.
“This means, that we launched our new product to meet customer expectations at the right time and, actually, at the right place as the mobile traffic consumption grew dramatically in the recent months. We’d like people to change their video consumption habits towards the higher standards in all aspects.”
