Piksel appoints Discovery CTO to board

Online video platform provider Piksel has appointed Discovery Communicatoins chief technology officer John Honeycutt to its board.

Honeycutt joined Discovery in 2003 and has held several senior executive positions in both the US and internationally. As CTO of Discovery, he has global responsibility for the company’s entire technology stack.

“John is a true visionary in our industry and we are excited to welcome him to Piksel’s board of directors,” said Peter Heiland, Piksel’s CEO.

“We believe his strong experience, especially building a global business across both developed and emerging markets, will be extremely valuable as Piksel continues to grow around the world.”
